Director | Jack Neo
Jack Neo Chee Keong (b. 1960, Singapore) is an award-winning filmmaker who holds the record for directing Singapore’s highest grossing feature film to date: Ah Boys To Men 2 (2013). He made his feature film debut in 1998 with Money No Enough, Singapore's third highest-grossing local film of all time. He is also renowned for Homerun (2003), recipient of six international awards, including the Grand Prix Prize at the 2003 Golden Swan Awards, the Golden Butterfly Prize for Best Direction at the Isfahan International Children's Film Festival, and a trio (Best Director, Best Newcomer, and People's Choice Award) at the Montreal World Film Festival. His other notable films include I Not Stupid (2002), The Best Bet (2004), the romantic comedy I Do, I Do (2005), One More Chance (2005), We Not Naughty (2012), and Ah Boys To Men (2012).
In Singapore, Jack received multiple awards and honourable mentions in recognition of his contributions to the local film industry. He also received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Multi-Talent Award from MediaCorp Singapore in Star Awards, as well as the Public Service Medal Award and Arts Cultural Medallion Award.
